Family Atmosphere

With only room for 18 residents, we are a small enough "Residential Care" facility to have a truly warm and friendly feeling of "homne".  Our staff considers residents "family" and cares for them as they were their own.

In the center of the facility is the dining room, a "gathering place" where much socializing takes place.  The dining room overlooks the deck with bird feeders and a rose garden.  Our country location provides a peaceful quiet setting that many seniors prefer.  There are times of games, Bible studies, Tea's, puzzles, ice cream socials, and many more activities that are regular events at Sunnyhills.  Residents may be as active as they wish.



Sunnyhills is the ONLY home owned and operated facility in Carthage!  A big difference in the care your loved one recieves.

Country Setting

Some of our residents require special diets and medications that requires daily monitoring.  These items are included in our regular care.

When families cannot assist the resident to doctors visits we are there to help (at no extra cost).

Residents with a diagnosis of Alzheimers or Dementia are considered on an individual basis.
